GYM Bar WeHo has Supported Pride House LA-WeHo from the Start

Two of our very first supporters were Erik Braverman and Jonathan Cottrell. They’ve both provided incredible guidance for the work we’re doing. Now, as owners of GYM, we’re working with them to…

We caught up with Jonathan

PRIDE HOUSE LA/WEHO: What's been the best surprise you've had in the year-plus you've owned GYM Bar WeHo?

GYM: The biggest and best surprise has been just how deeply supported we feel by the community — and not only by sports fans. In fact, a lot of our regulars aren’t really into sports at all, but they love the welcoming, community-driven vibe of the bar.

PH: How would you describe the community response to the changes you've made?GYM: The response has been overwhelmingly positive. One of the biggest wins has been the restroom upgrades. Another big area of focus has been our food program. We’ve worked hard to elevate both the offerings and the presentation, and it’s been so gratifying to hear how much people appreciate it.

PH: What preparations are you making for the FIFA World Cup next June?

GYM: We’ve invested in a brand-new A/V system with state-of-the-art pro TVs and audio to make every match feel like a big event. We also plan to poll the community and create a true gathering spot for fans of multiple teams — not just Team USA (though we know they’ll bring big crowds!).
